Objective

The New York Skyriders program strives to help students develop by providing them with academic and social support services (e.g. tutoring programs, mentoring, counseling, crisis prevention and intervention, and higher education and career development opportunities) via athletics, specifically, basketball.  The youth we serve are predominantly boys and girls from New York City and Long Island. However, the Skyriders have welcomed youth from other cities, states, and countries. A commendable number of our student participants that have emerged through the Skyriders program have been awarded athletic as well as academic College Scholarships. However the Skyriders continue to welcome youth from other Cities, States, and Countries.
